HYMN AFTER THE GOSPEL

SONG # 5

Blessed are those servants good

Whom their Lord shall find

Wakeful working when he comes

To-His vineyard good

Girding up his loins he serves them all

They who worked with Him from morn till eve

God the Father makes them sit

And the Son serves them

Lo the holy Paraclete

Plaits them victor’s crown

Halleluiah setting on their heads.

Song# 6

Come the time of pray'r is here,

Come for pardon, have no fear:

Tis the time to ask a new

Tis the time for mercy too.

See the holy priest ascend

Mounting stairs which heav'nward tend

There the pure qurban to raise

 For whoev'r communicates.

Mercy here is full and free,

Come beloved come and see

Give the kiss of peace divine

Hearts sincere in love combine

Let us now be reconciled

To each heavenly father's child

So, before god's throne of grace

Find compassion on his Grace.

Priest: …………………………

Prayer Before Receiving the Blessed Sacrament

O Bread coming down from heaven,

To nourish every man,

Grant that I may partake of Thee,

 In all pure desire,

 adoration

and Godly fear.

O gladsome Wine of Life,

 May I be intoxicated

 by Thy love.

O Thou who did cry saying:

Who so ever is at thirst

Let him come unto me

and drink,

Behold my soul in thirst

Hath come to Thee

to be assuaged by the water of life.

O God,

I am not worthy,

that Thou should come into my heart.

Do Thou speak a word to heal my soul

Which is  thirst for you

Even more than the thirst of the deer

 to the streams of water.

O cup of blessing and salvation,

 O heavenly manna,

and bread of life

Do Thou dwell in me forever more.

Amen.
